At the office of Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Lau is currently holding a meeting attended by Health Minister Rabbi Yaakov Litzman, Ministry Director Moshe Bar Siman Tov, and health system heads regarding the halakhic implications of dealing with the coronavirus.
Among other things, they are discussing Megillah reading for people who are in isolation and other halakhic issues that are currently being raised in light of Health Ministry guidelines.
