An new exhibit at the Israel Museum features chairs used by followers of the Hassidic sect when they seclude themselves in nature. Regular even daily seclusion, ideally in nature, is a central practice of the followers of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov (1772-1810). Breslov Hassidim consider the priority of this practice to be "higher than everything else." Rabbi Nachman recommended "devoting at least an hour a day to seculsion in a room or in a field for a detailed discussion between you and your G-d."
