President Reuven Rivlin visited the Knesset this morning as the guest of the Central Elections Committee, its chairman Judge Neil Hendel and director general Orly Ades, Adv. The president visited the committee’s operations center which is connected to all the voting districts and was briefed by the representatives of the Ministry of Health about the special polling places for those in self-isolation at home due to the Coronavirus.
Earlier today, the president exercised his right to vote in the elections for the 23rd Knesset and called on all Israelis to go out and vote, saying, “We just don't deserve this. We don't deserve another awful and grubby election campaign like the one that ends today and we don't deserve this never-ending instability. We deserve a government that works for us. I ask you to go and vote. Every vote is the right one. Every vote is your voice. Go out and make it heard.”
