Chairman Neal Hendel of the Central Election Commission has dismissed the Likud Party's petition against the Israeli Alliance (Habrit Hayisraeli) which had claimed that the group's actions to promote voting without registering as an "active body in elections" is illegal.
The Supreme Court justice first ruled that the alliance has not been shown to cooperate with parties aimed at removing Prime Minister and Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu from power. He also said that the organization is currently only concerned with encouraging voting in general.
