Reacting to criticism of Benny Gantz in which his own advisor questioned his courage, Yair Lapid claimed that "during the war (in Gaza), when I sat for hours with the cabinet, I witnessed Bibi (Netanyahu) collapse under pressure while Gantz was the calmest person in the room. Everything else you hear about Gantz is just gossip." Lapid is a former Minister of Finance and a member of Gantz' Blue and White party.
