Major General Kamil Abu Rokon, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, announced on Thursday that calves from Israel have begun to enter the Palestinian Authority in accordance with the outline reached last week to resolve the trade war that started with a PA boycott of the livestock in September.
In exchange for the cancellation of the boycott, various trade sanctions imposed by Defense Minister Naftali Bennett on trade with the PA will also be removed. It was made clear to the PA side that if the understandings are breached and the PA does not meet the criteria set for implementing the outline, the sanctions will come back and even more severe restrictions will be imposed
