The US Treasury has removed the sanctions imposed on Gen. (res.) Yisrael Ziv.
The sanctions were applied after it was alleged that he dealt in arms deals in South Sudan.
Ziv responded to the decision, saying, "I am very happy that the truth has come to light. The charges have tarnished my good name and severely damaged my business."
