Public warning on aesthetic treatments done by overseas therapists

The Health Ministry warns the public about aesthetic treatments performed by unauthorized therapists who come from abroad and perform these treatments in Israel.

"We have come across a number of therapists who present themselves as doctors and arrive in the country as tourists from Ukraine or Russia and illegally perform aesthetic treatments such as Botox injections and fillers," it said.

The Ministry makes it clear that there is no oversight or control over the professional training of these "injection tourists" who endanger the health of the Israeli public and can cause serious and irreversible health damage.
