Joseph's Tomb: Muslim minor arrested with 4 firebombs

Last night Border Police, police, the IDF, and the Civil Administration secured the entry of about 2,000 worshipers to the Tomb of Yosef and the Tel Balata archaeological site in the city of Shechem.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, dozens of Muslims threw rocks and firebombs at Israeli troops who secured the worshipers.

The forces responded with riot-control measures while Border Police lay in ambush to seize the suspects endangering the lives of the troops. During the ambush, Border Police officers arrested a Muslim minor with 4 ready-to-use firebombs, a liter of gasoline, and a face mask. There are no casualties to our forces.

The suspect, a 17-year-old resident of the Assar refugee camp on the outskirts of Shechem, along with the findings were taken for questioning by the Israeli police.
