Attorney Chaim Bleicher of the Honenu legal aid organization responded to the sentencing for the Muslim who stabbed Nirit Zmora.
"This is a result of a long process that we went through with his previous sentence. We're pleased that the terrorist has four more years added to his prison term, four years in which Israeli citizens will be safer. Although this is a low penalty and we expected more, but in the end we're pleased that we're here to make a correction."
Nirit Zmora described her feelings, "To the best of my understanding, more could have been given, but I feel that we made a significant step here. I want to say thank you to the Honenu organization and Attorney Chaim Bleicher who accompanied us, and I pray to G-d that we'll no longer need such things."
