Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said, following a Monday afternoon meeting with the local leaders at the Sderot operations center, "We do not want a broad campaign [in Gaza] but we are preparing a plan and if there is no choice we will run a tough campaign."
In contrast to prior military operations in Gaza, Bennett added, "We will not let the enemy know when and not let him know where. We are committed to security for residents of the Gaza envelope."
