Israel Railways said that as per instructions of security forces, train traffic was temporarily stopped in the section between Ashkelon and Beers Sheva, and the Sderot, Netivot and Ofakim stations are closed to service.
Trains on the western Negev line (Raanana-Beer Sheva) begin and end their journey north from Ashkelon Station. Passengers to / from Beer Sheva will use the East Line, passing through Lod stations, Lehavim, Rahat and Kiryat Gat.
