Foreign Minister and Cabinet Member Israel Katz said this morning in an interview with Galei Tzahal: "We can roll into a military operation in an hour. The election date is not taken into account."
Katz attacked senior Blue and Ehite officials and said: "All the reserve officers who are in political positions today - Gantz, Ya'alon Ashkenazi, not only failed to initiate an operation but also stopped in the middle." When asked why the IDF only attacked Islamic Jihad targets and not Hamas he replied: "There is no coordination with Hamas. We are firing on anyone who tries to hurt us. Hamas is responsible for everything that happens in Gaza. It is a bitter enemy of Israel, it's not shooting due to deterrence. It is surrounded from all sides."
