A resident of eastern Jerusalem told police that he fired into the air on Sunday evening after a private vehicle attempted to run him and another man over, then fled the scene.
Forces from the police and Border Police began searching the area for the suspicious vehicle. No damage or injuries were reported. An investigation has been opened to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
