El Al's leaders met on Sunday with leading travel agents in Israel, against the backdrop of the effet of the coronavirus crisis on the company's operations, according to Passportnews. El Al CEO Gonen Ussishkin told the agents "We need you at this difficult time, there is a dramatic event. We equipped ourselves with new aircraft, and we need you to help us."
The agents replied that they had no problem helping, but expected the company to help them. The agents asked for a long-term agreement, which would increase the fees the company pays, as well as reimburse the agents for the frequent passengers and the issuing of a bonus card.
