As part of the Haemek Medical Center in Afula's preparations for treating patients suspected of being exposed to the coronavirus, an forward treatment post has been established at the entrance to the hospital's emergency department to reduce the exposure of other patients to the virus.
According to Dr. Bibiana Hazan, Director of the Infectious Diseases Unit of the medical center: "It is important to remember that in Israel at this stage, the coronavirus has not yet been proven, but it is expected that we will have referrals to the emergency medicine department and we will proceed accordingly."
