Moshe Leon, mayor of Jerusalem, called Prime Minister Netanyahu's promised construction of 5,000 new housing units "the happiest of my life." The new residential construction will take place in the southeast outreaches of Jerusalem in the Homat Shmuel (Har Homa) and Givat HaMatos neighborhoods.
