A chronically ill 33-year-old Tel Aviv-Jaffa resident who was serving 12 years for manslaughter was found in his bed in Ramle's Nitzan Prison Thursday morning without signs of life.
An mobile intensive care unit was summoned to the scene and but was unsuccessfully in its resuscitation efforts. His death was determined by a Prisons Service physician. An investigation has been opened.
