Galei Tzahal broadcaster and media man Rino Tzrot is threatening to sue the Yamina party which, he says, has "robbed" scenes from his film - "Women's Cry" (Tefilat Habanot in Hebrew) and embedded them in the party's campaign videos, without his permission.
The film documents the eviction of women and girls who barricaded themselves in the synagogue in Neve Dekalim during the Israel's unilateral removal of Jews from Gaza in 2005. Yamina used the excerpts to remind the public of the Likud government's action. Among other things, Tzror is seeking that the excerpts be removed.
