During targeted enforcement activity, a police drone spotted a private vehicle traveling at 139 kph on Highway 40.
The vehicle was stopped between Hativat haNegev and Goral Junction. Checks revealed the new driver in his 20s is disqualified from driving by the court for 89 days and continued to drive despite being disqualified.
A police officer present at the scene conducted a hearing for the area resident who was eventually released with a court summons and revoked driver's license for 30 days, and the vehicle was disabled for a similar period.
