Gilad Ardan, Minister of Internal Security, met today (Tuesday) with Congressmen Jim Jordan (Ohio) and Mike Johnson (Louisiana) in the community of Psagot, located in Binyamin (Samaria). The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen ties between Israel and the US.
The Congressmen met Ardan on the Temple Mount and praised the activity of the police on site.
Ardan underlined the need to include in "the deal of the century" the equal rights of members of every religion to pray on the Temple Mount.
Ardan also suggested steps the Congressmen should take in pushing back against the "black list" of companies doing business in Judea and Samaria that was published by the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Ardan asked the Congressmen to work towards cutting the funds allocated by the US to the UN until the Human Rights Council rescinds this discriminatory list. Furthermore, Ardan advocated that any agency or organization promoting or participating in boycotts of companies on the list should itself be boycotted and shunned.
Ardan also suggested that the Congressmen find American investors interested in expanding the industrial zones in Judea and Samaria where Jews and Arabs work together. Such investment would assist in advancing coexistence between the two peoples.
