OneFamily, a non-profit organization that assists victims of terror and their families, has begun to put together packages of mishloach manot (baskets of treats) as the Purim holiday approaches. The organization invited 300 volunteers from various organizations throughout the world to come to Jerusalem and fill the baskets for 2,500 families whose loved ones were killed or wounded in terrorist attacks.

Throughout the month, mostly English speaking groups will be arriving to do this holy work, fulfilling the obligation of "sending portions" to others, first mentioned in the Book of Esther. The volunteers will write personal letters to the recipient of each basket.
