Energy Minister will not grant new licenses for the search and production of shale oil at depths or for surface mining.
The Energy Ministry has also informed Rotem Amfert of the Israel Chemicals Limited Group that it does not intend to extend its production license in the Rotem area of the eastern Negev beyond May 2021.
