An committee of the Israel Defense Forces investigating incorrect figures on haredi-religious recruitment has told Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi that there was no increase in the number of haredim inducted between 2015 and 2018, contrary to what was reported to the political echelon, according to Channel 12 News.
The committee found that some of the data was intentionally biased, most of the data was inaccurate and the report indicates a serious systemic failure. Command measures will probably be taken against the head of the IDF Personnel Branch and other officers. They will not be ousted from the IDF but probably will receive a reprimand, a severe reprimand and a note in their command files.
