The official value of the shekel rose an average of .187 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.428, down .175 since Friday, while the Euro declined a quarter of a percent to 3.7155 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.4611 shekels, down .277 percent.
