London's Heathrow Airport was hit on Sunday by a technical problem that rendered information screens such as takeoff and departure schedules inoperative.
Airport staff was forced to write the information on whiteboards. A number of flights were delayed or canceled. One passenger tweeted about air-traffic-control systems having to reboot. Another reported the baggage system was affected. The problems followed havoc caused by the storm Dennis.
