The Justice Ministry has announced that it has begun a pilot rehabilitation program from imprisonment and detention for minors, which implements a 2018 government decision on "Adopting the interagency staff report to examine minors' release from imprisonment."
At the base of the pilot is a continuous conception of work from the time the minor is arrested on suspicion of committing a criminal offense, to his release from imprisonment, emphasizing the importance of each stage in the sequence, and the role of each governmental body at that particular stage.
