Culture and Sport Minister Miri Regev congratulated Hapoel Jerusalem for winning the state cup in basketball.
"Well done Oded Katash and his team who managed to recreate for the third time the achievement of 1996 and 2007 and bring the trophy to the capital city for the second year in a row. Tip of the cap to Ironi Nahariya and their coach Danny Franco, who demonstrated a fighting spirit throughout the game, made sure of a thrilling final and almost succeeded in bringing the trophy to the northern city for the first time," said Regev.
