President Donald Trump expressed optimism Thursday about the prospects for reaching a peace deal with the Taliban in Afghanistan.
"I think we're very close," said Trump on iHeart Radio Thursday. "I think there's a good chance that we'll have a deal," Trump continued, adding that it would be come clear in two weeks whether a deal can be finalized.
