Report: US base in Iraq hit by missile attack

A base used by American military forces in northern Iraq was hit by missiles Thursday evening, Sky News reported.

According to the report, K1, a base in the Kirkuk region in northern Iraq which is used by the US military, has been attacked.

There are currently no reports of casualties.

This is the first attack on a base where US forces are stationed in Iraq since the December 27th, 2019 rocket attack which left an American contractor dead and several US soldiers injured.
