Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told supporters in Ohr Yehuda Thursday that he plans to appoint former Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat as the next Finance Minister, if the Likud wins the upcoming election.
"I want to announce this evening that I'm going to unveil six big economic and health reforms in the next government, and I've asked Nir Barkat to serve as the next Finance Minister in the next Likud government."
The current finance minister, Moshe Kahlon, announce plans to resign after the next government is formed.
