Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan has told public radio on Thursday that the publication of the United Nations Human Rights Council's black list of firms doing business in Juda and Samaria was expected, explaining, "This list began to formulate as a result of [former United States president Barack] Obama's unfortunate decision to avoid and allow a decision on the legality of settling in Judea and Samaria. It has no legal significance beyond the use that anti-Semitic organizations and haters of Israel will make of it."
Erdan also said: "There is no dispute that it is Israel's haters - those who led the passage of the decision. The companies included there are very well-known international companies, but also include Israeli companies like all the banks in the country. It's a delusional decision that has no application in reality."
