Shai Alon, the head of Beit El Municipal Council, reacted this evening to the speech given by of the head of the Palestinian Authority, Abu-Mazen, at a meeting of the Security Council. "Abu-Mazen is an arch-terrorist," Alon said, "who even today finances terrorist activities against civilians innocent of any crime."
"He not only denies the Holocaust but also denies the Jewish history of Judea and Samaria, an expanse dotted with Jewish communities for thousands of years. This history of ours is confirmed by archaeology and by uncovered relics that, for the most part, are evidence of an age-old Jewish presence in these areas."
"I advise Abu-Mazen to sit in his Mukataa (government compound) and learn both modern and ancient history," Alon added.
