The Supreme Court accepted, Tuesday, the state's appeal and increased the punishment of an accomplice to the terrorist who carried out an attack on a Tel Aviv pub in early January 2016.

Instead of carrying out works for the public good, it was decided that the accomplice, the terrorist's cousin, will spend a year in prison. The ruling states, "Assisting a murderous terrorist is a serious offense, even when it's a matter of assisting another. The punishmnet of an accomplice should be severe enough to dissuade people from providing assistance of any kind to the main perpetrator and thereby dilute the pool of accomplices."
