During a Tuesday inspection by the Health Ministry's district veterinarian, in collaboration with the Agriculture Ministry's Plant and Animal Enforcement Unit and Border Guards in the Lower Galilee Arab community of Yafia (Yafa an-Naseriyye), a refrigeration facility for storage of poultry was found containing about 950 kilograms of chickens that had passed their expiration date.
The chickens were destroyed.
