The Movement for Quality Government has threatened to appeal to the Supreme Court if Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu appoints former Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat as finance minister before the elections.
Responding to a report by Channel 12 News about the possibility of such an appointment, the movement said, "The position of a minister in Israel is not a political appointment that can be speculated in to win votes."
