The Health Ministry is warning that it has received fictitious announcements ("fake news") regarding the coronavirus in the last few hours, which have also been published on social networks.
Official announcements and updates can only be found through authorized sources at the ministry. Health Minister Yaakov Litzman said "The Health Ministry's instructions for preventing the spread of the coronavirus are being circulated online, in an official and continuous manner. One must be careful about fake information that is undocumented and causing unnecessary confusion in the general public."
