A number of divisions of the Defense Ministry have completed the historic clearing of Dov Hoz Airport ("Sde Dov") near the Tel Aviv waterfront, after 81 years of activity.
Sde Dov spread over 750 dunams (188 acres) and served as a civilian and military airport until it closed last July.
