Peter Paltchik has won the gold medal in the 100-kilogram weight class at the Paris Grand Slam of the International Judo Federation.
Paltchik's sixth career gold medal was the lone Israeli medal in the two days of competition. Coupled with a fifth-place finish and three seventh-place finishes, it put Israel in ninth place in the team standings.
