Israel's Peter Paltchik has defeated the Netherlands' Michael Korrel to enter the finals of the International Judo Federation's Paris Grand Slam 2020 in the up to 100 kilogram weight class against Georgia's Varlam Liparteliani.
Israel is ranked 15th in the tournament with a fifth place finish and three seventh-place finishes. Or Sasson was defeated by Andy Granda during group competition in the 100+ kg. class.
