Government approves appointment Bank of Israel deputy governor

The government today approved the appointment of Andrew Abir as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Israel.

Abir, who will take office today, will continue to serve as a member of the Monetary Committee and the Bank of Israel's Administrative Council.
