The Syrian army took control of a strategic crossroads in Saraqeb, Syria, on Friday.
"Army units now exercise full control over the town of Saraqeb," state television reported.
One of the two highways which run through Saraqeb connects Damascus to Aleppo and is the country's longest highway.
