The Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday morning that a passenger plane was forced to make land an emergency landing following the attack in Syria overnight Wednesday which was attributed to Israel.
The attack targeted Iranian militants in the Damascus area. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 15 pro-Iranian terrorists, five Syrians and three Iranians were killed in the attack.
