The Iraqi Defense Ministry has announced that Baghdad and Moscow are discussing increasing military cooperation, AP reported.
According to Lt. Gen. Othman Al-Ghanimi, Chief of Staff of Iraq's army, Moscow has aided Iraq's battle against ISIS and provided the Iraqi forces "with advanced and effective equipment and weapons that had a major role in resolving many battles."
