The Palestinian Authority has claimed that eliminating a terrorist who is currently carrying out an attack against Israelis is an act "of execution."
The statement was made following a shooting attack near the Lions Gate of Jerusalem's Old City. In the attack, the terrorist drew a weapon and shot police officers in Jerusalem, before attempting to flee the scene.
