A 29-year-old resident of the northern Israeli Arab city of Umm El-Fahm has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman in broad daylight and robbing her of money and property.
The woman alerted the police and, after intelligence investigations, the suspect was arrested possession of some of the stolen items. His detention was extended this morning until Sunday by the Hadera Magistrates Court.
