The chairman of the Haifa District Planning and Building Commission has signed an urban plan for the haredi-religious community of Rechasim, southeast of Haifa between the Yagur and Haamakim Junctions.
The plan offers infrastructure to grow the population from about 12,000 today to about 35,000 in the future, addressing the special needs of its population. Housing for the population boom will be split between construction of new dwellings and urban renewal.
