The Defense Minister's office sought to clarify following the report of Israel's intention to hand over murderer's bodies to the Palestinian Authority: "There is no such thing. The reporting is wrong. Under the guidance of the Defense Minister, resources are invested in locating terrorists' bodies for missing and captives purposes. No terrorist's body will be returned until our soldiers and civilians are returned."
According to Galei Tzahal reports, Israel intends to hand over to the PA bodies of terrorists held in enemy operative cemeteries. Among the bodies are those killed by Hamas.
