Sudan cast doubt on Tuesday on an early normalization of ties with Israel, a day after Israeli officials said Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met Chairman head Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan of Sudan's sovereign council for two hours in Uganda and were working towards that goal, according to Reuters.
Sources in the Forces for Freedom and Change, an alliance that fronted protests that toppled Sudanese leader Omar al-Bashir last year, said Sudan’s cabinet on Tuesday discussed the Netanyahu- Al-Burhan meeting, which it said it had not yet been informed about. It also summoned FFC leaders for consultations.
