Police arrested a 36-year-old resident of the central Israeli Arab city of Tamra on suspicion of robbing a couple of elderly residents of the city in their home during the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday morning, taking thousands of shekels from them.
After a report of the robbery was phoned in to the 100 police switchboard, large police forces were deployed in the city and began extensive searches to locate the suspect. The suspect was located and arrested, and will be brought before a judge.
